演讲大纲：

乍看之下，建筑设计似乎是主观的、强调建筑师个人的美感经验。其实在这随意性之下，总是隐藏着某种逻辑。以BAT ARCHITECTUUR的两个建筑项目为例，Dirk De Meyer说明建筑师是如何藉由检视一些日常生活物件与传统构造的"形式起源"，来清晰地看到隐藏在这随意性之下的逻辑。因此，即是是面对可持续性等当代议题，形式的"过去"可以是未来，而未来的建筑设计与形式仍是非常"传统"的。

Our varied architecture and design output may at first sight seem to be the result of broad personal taste or mere subjectivity. Nevertheless, behind this seeming randomness are hidden some clear logics. These will be made visible by looking into “the origin(s) of shape(s)” of some day-to-day objects and traditional constructions. And then will be made apparent in our works by zooming in deeply into the design process of some recent proposals like ‘Puyang: school for Acrobatics and Arts’ and ‘Bras: living in the woods’. BAT believes that, because of programmatic development and energy concerns, the ‘shape(s) of tomorrow will be very different form the ones of the past, but is also convinced that the “origin(s)” of design will need to remain very ‘traditional’ in its logics in order to be successful.

Dirk De Meyer，DDM.ARCHITECTUUR主持建筑师、BAT ARCHITECTUUR创始人、郑州大学客座教授。建筑项目主要在欧陆与中国，例如比利时Deurle 0505别墅(与David Chipperfield合作)、比利时Tielt Club 77、河南濮阳杂技艺术学校、广西南宁南华总部大楼(与源计划合作)、四川成都木山文化工业园区方案、广州报业集团总部方案等。曾获比利时建筑奖(2013)、国际Archizinc盃建筑奖(2014)、比利时bis Architectuurwedstrijd建筑奖(2014)、IAA世界建筑奖(2015)。作品曾刊于A+、a+u、detail、MARK magazine等国际建筑杂志。
