主要从事多场耦合力学领域的研究工作，重点关注新型储能材料和功能材料中的缺陷，并研究基于缺陷调控材料性能的机理。在Science, Nature Communications, Composite Structures, Acta Materialia, International Journal of Solids and Structures等国际期刊发表论文12篇。
